Veteran Community Outreach
Supporting our San Diego Military and Veteran Non-Profit Organizations
We are committed to giving back to our Veteran community by supporting several San Diego based Veteran Non-Profit organizations. Tip of the Spear Real Estate Team is proud to support the following San Diego Non-Profit organizations both financially and most importantly, through hands on help.

Helping Paws
The Helping Paws Foundation helps keep military families united with their pets by providing low and no-cost veterinary care for troops and veterans in need. Without their 501(c)(3), a lot of vets would face the heartbreaking decision of premature relinquishment, or worse yet, economic euthanasia.
Since 2013, Helping Paws has directly helped more than 2,600 military pets.
Helping Paws Foumder, Craig J. Mohnacky, DVM, has provided veterinary care for 40 years in a county that’s home to nearly 250,000 veterans (many disabled) and more than 100,000 active service members. He has always supported military families. He formalized his philanthropic platform in 2013 when he launched the Helping Paws Foundation. Now, he and his team proudly give back to those who give so much, by keeping military families united with their beloved pets. By establishing trusting relationships and partnerships within our community, Helping Paws has become an essential resource in support of our fine military families.

Triple B Adventures
Triple B Adventures is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that offers active duty military and veterans a chance to reconnect with fellow Vets who also feel alone, unconnected, and isolated. It is a chance for them to get together in a scenic environment and fresh air to share in stories, laughter and veteran humor without judgment. Specifically, the program addresses the strained and broken transitional system and aims to limit veteran struggles thereby reducing veteran suicides.
Many of the veterans and active duty members that come to the retreats are from a range of branches of service, ages, experiences, professions, and income. This diverse group allows for bonding, mentor-ship and healing. Friendships form from these retreats and veterans leave once again feeling like they are part of a tribe with the ability to reach out if and when they need help. More importantly they are not alone anymore! We hold at least one retreat per month so they can always count on us being around for them. It is in this environment that veterans can open up without judgment, can express their humor, thoughts, and problems to brothers and sisters who share common experiences and have the background to relate to their issues.

Active Valor
Active Valor is a combat veteran run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in San Diego, CA dedicated to giving new purpose to veterans by pairing them as mentors to children of our nation’s fallen heroes, referred to as Gold Star Children.
Their program, Valor Adventures, was designed by a former Navy SEAL, envisioned to give new purpose to the lives of those who have served by redirecting their passion towards making a positive change in their local communities. Their veterans are placed in an ongoing mentorship role and given the chance to pass on their profound skill-sets gained from their military career to children that no longer have access to it. Together, their dynamic-duos utilize teamwork & problem solving to overcome different obstacles and challenges to successfully complete their missions.
